Our Pumpkin Patch

On a clear day, the New England Foliage serves as an impressive backdrop for our beautiful Blue Jay Orchards patch.

Pumpkin and Gourds

Starting the weekend of September 17, 2022, our pumpkin patch will open with a great selection of pumpkins. Blue Jay Orchards must grow our pumpkins at another location with 120 acres, most of which is occupied by apple trees, we do not have enough open space to produce all the pumpkins that we sell during the fall. Our pumpkins are harvested and brought to Blue Jay and placed in our patch assuring you a great pumpkin for the fall.
We offer a selection of specialty gourds and little pumpkins for fall decorating.

Pick Your Own Pumpkin

We take pride in our high-quality & unique selection of pumpkins, ranging from decorative mini pumpkins, & one-of-a-kind squash, to jumbo pumpkins & everything in between.

We provide wheelbarrows to aid your pumpkin search. These gourds can get quite heavy! There’s sure to be the perfect pumpkin for every jack o’ lantern, pumpkin pie, & centerpiece at Blue Jay Orchards.

What does the pumpkin symbolize?

What does the pumpkin symbolize?
Pumpkins are also one of the more resilient fruit, finding ways to grow large and bulging amongst sparse soil and sharing nutrients along a connected vine that reaches into the ground to replenish itself. It is perhaps for this reason that pumpkins have become symbols of prosperity, growth, and abundance.
